What's new?
CIPR Inside gets a blog
Engaging colleagues, creating dialogue, sharing best practice, improving communication channels and building communities of interest are all part of life in the day of an IC professional.
This blog is CIPR Inside’s attempt to create a point of focus for our growing membership and the extended community of communication professionals with an interest in internal communications and employee engagement.

An evening with John Smythe
Join CIPR Inside on Wednesday 17 February for an evening with John Smythe, the author of "CEO, the Chief Engagement Officer - Turning Hierarchy Upside Down to Drive Performance".
John will be giving us a sneak preview of his new book and answering your questions over a glass of wine in the central London offices of GAM.
This event is now full. But watch this space for future CIPR Inside events.
Thinking Visually, Delivering Results
At our latest event, held on 18 November at BAFTA in central London, we focused on visual communications. Inside invited some of the industry's leading film-makers to show us how they are using visual communications techniques to achieve outstanding results.
The Edge Picture Company, markettiers4dc, UCL and Triffid each brought a new and different perspective to the 50 internal communications practitioners present. Everyone left BAFTA with ideas and techniques to take back to their own workplace.
CIPR Annual Internal Communications Conference
The CIPR Annual Internal Communications conference took place on Monday 14 September at the Inmarsat Conference Centre in Old Street, London.
The day comprised seven sessions including: Justifying the value of your internal communications department, preparing for recession recovery and examining ways to reach employees through communication channels.
This event will be held again next year and the date will be available from spring 2010. If you would like to receive further information on this event please contact Eloise West on EloiseW@cipr.co.uk.
